Surf Kayak Comp; Clare November 8th

Small, chilled out surf comp, followed by the paddlesurf Ireland AGM. Suitable for all abilities, it'll be a great chance to get a spin in a real surf kayak and meet up with all the paddlsurf Ireland crew. If anyone wants to go and can't roll, bring a wetsuit and a waveski, they're deadly craic!

Hey so I'm going about registering and two things 1 what's my canoe Ireland number I do I need to get that 1 day membership thing . . Also what boat do I intent on using, long, short or wave ski . . ?

For the canoeing Ireland number just out in ULKC affiliated. Most of us don't have numbers.

Well enter short boat anyway, after that it's up to you if you want to give long boat or waveski a go too?
There's only like 3 long boats in the country so if you are going to enter something else it might make more sense to go with Waveski! You might as well give it a go!
Are you ok with meeting at the boathouse at 8.30?

Great comp today. Big shout out to Rowan from GOYA & Alison.
Both went on in massive, say it again, MASSIVE HUGE surf this morning and held on for some great rides.
After we all got spanked, we ran with our tails between our legs to a hollow, fast powerful cracker of a wave( yes, hollow was the easy option ).
Amazing surfing, lots of laughs, possibly most airs at an irish event.
What a day Lots of sore faces from permanent smiling
Thanks to everyone who came and Massive thanks to Wayne for judging!!
Great day in the end!!
