Sheep, like all wool-bearing animals, instinctively travel north, where it's colder, and they won't be so stuffy.

I know we spoke about and tried to get level 5 training a few times while I was in college but it was seen as a whole lot of money to spend on paddlers who may not be around to give back the cost of the training to the club and also the training in general may not benefit the club in anyway.

Not like the L4 "peer paddling" training or a first aid or whitewater rescue course would benefit the club and not just those who do it. But definitely worth discussing anyway.

Diarmaid there are on going talks of what boats to buy next in the club (this conversation is usually always on going), however the club is not in a position to be buying any new boats this semester especially when a lot of older gear is in need of replacement, considering we've already bought at least 5 new boats this year.

Why cant it be as easy to keep track of the lads I've been with, as it is with the club money.

He was hoping you'd ask that question so he could bring up the agenda addition of "Club Cars" to put these racks on.

Yeah the soft ones. Just noticed that not having enough cars with racks seems to be cropping up more often nowadays.

But as Luke said, club cars with racks is the beat solution.

I've got two emails sent for two agenda items relating to me to add for tonight's meeting, sent to the club account and to the committee members individually. The items are regarding the Belfast expenses, and the Alps trip selection.

Please let me know what your decisions are on those matters.

If the committee want to discuss either of these with me, you can invite me to that portion of the meeting for the chat. Otherwise I'll await the decision later this evening.

Thanks,
Cathal.

River trip notice rules.

Seems like it's after coming up lately that private trips are being organised and other club members aren't being told about them.

I'm just wondering if there's any definite rules that must be followed with regard group chats or the forum when it's an official club trip. If we have a guide to follow it might avoid people feeling left out.
I think what you're trying to say is "Why aren't I wearing a jumper?"
