As per tradition the club will be running a REC 3 (Rescue Emergency Care) first aid course during this coming semester. The course will be taking place in March/April and runs over a weekend from Friday evening to Sunday evening (approx 6-9 Friday, 9-5 Saturday & Sunday). The course is internationally recognised and is held by many members within the club. People have found the course to be run well in the past with a focus towards kayaking scenarios. If you need to do a refresher in the course, you only need to attend Saturday and Sunday.
The course will be on a first come first served basis with the possibility of a second weekend if interest is there and scheduling and instructor availability work out.
