I’ll be organising River Safety & Rescue Training for later in the semester. The RSR 2 course is a great introduction to performing rescues on whitewater including general safety when paddling. This training takes place over a few hours on Castleconnell so we generally run it on a weekend. Level 3 kayaking skills is required to attend the course also.

Depending on the interest we may run two weekends depending on instructor availability.

If you are interested in doing an RSR 2 please sign up below and we’ll decide dates from there.

Any questions regarding the course feel free to contact myself or Eoghan O’Duffy.
If you can style a rapid but you can't run it upside down, you haven't really run it then, have you?

We could end up having more level 2 instructor trainees needing to sit in on an RSR than people actually needing to do the course here. With this in mind, I need to sit in on an RSR and I called it first!
Rivers are like the chemtrails of the land...
