So with the development of a swanky new leader board coming a boathouse near you (UL kayak's just in case you're wondering)
we'll be kick starting the Outback Challenge once again.

This is an ideal opportunity to show the club what you are made of, and is fantastic training for National Competitions throughout the year and the big ALPS TRIP at the end of second semester.

So here's the pitch: Time starts when you pass the pontoon, go around one of the bridge pillars at Corbally and the time stops when you pass the end of the pontoon again.

In the interest of keeping things fair, the reasonably priced boat will be the Gola and any paddles can be used except for the wings

Timing is up to the individual, a Decathlon Watch or any water proof watch is perfect for this. And if you don't have one just go out with an older member who has
Throw your times up here, and the best times will be put on our wall!

So get out there and push yourself, for the bragging rights and if things get really competitive the prizes

Current Leaderboards are as follows:

Minus points actually. Body uses less energy, cause it doesn't have to keep itself cool. Ya should've gone faster 😜

Extra points for the effort of getting out of bed then?Image
The blue-ish colour of my hands getting off the water is proof to me the cold doesn't make it easier Image
