Just for the last of the organising details can you please post here if you've other plans than the club i.e driving up yourself or only staying one night etc just so we can get the numbers right

Just so people know, if you need to miss a lecture/tutorial to be able to get the bus at 1/2 o'clock we can get you a note from UL Sport saying you are representing the college.
You probably won't have labs either in week 2 so most lecturers are ok with you missing a lecture / tutorial(if you have them)

I got out of a lab last year. Emailed the lecturer with a weeks notice and when I finally got the letter forwarded it on too. Ended up not having to do the lab at all. Depends on the lecturer, they may ask you to transfer to another lab that week.

Yeah it does depend on the lecturer. I had a letter last year to excuse me from a lecture on the friday and he wouldn't accept it. Said the only reason you should miss class is if you're sick. So you'll never know until you try.
