Ok everyone probably knows by now that the Clifden beach party/camping/freestyle training event is happening this weekend. All the info is here: https://www.facebook.com/events/1649044855332377/.

Who wants to go and needs a space in a car, and who is planning to drive up?

Anyone who needs or has extra space in a tent might post up here too.

Is Eileen going? Bags a spot after the people who actually own her!

Travel plans for Eileen and her driver (Simon).
Leave UL boathouse around 7pm.
Drive to Galway. Spend the night in Galway visiting friends and drinking on Shop Street.
Get up Saturday and drive out to Clifden for the Kayaking event and mini vacation.
Then, Party...hearty.
Will be driving home on Sunday evening.
I assume my passengers will be Eoin F and Shaina until Galway. Then Mike Shaw and Eva from Galway to Clifden.
Car full, and Eileen full...so I advise people bring tents.

Who else is driving/going?

I'm driving as well. Not sure if I'm going on Friday evening or Saturday morning depending on weather. I'll be going straight to Clifden either way.

So far I'm bringing Sam and possibly Caoilinn and Crosbie. Are Mike and Eva taking spots in Eileen Simon? Because Luke and Jack have offered their spots to other people already.... I'm staying in a tent anyway.

Weather is looking to be pretty shitty but we can hope.

If I drive I can't bring boats, does anyone have a space for me and a boat?

I'll have my 2 man pop up for just me too so if anyone's stuck for a tent let me know. Just bring a rape whistle

Ok sweet. I'm going to decide when I'm travelling up on Friday sometime, depending on the weather.

Derv McAuley is heading up from Limerick too, and has a car.

Looking at the tide times it might make more sense to head up on Saturday. I'll see if anyone is going on Friday.

If we can hit Clifden around 4 on Friday we'll get a paddle in. Is anyone free that early?
