Did you paddle Little Eas Patrick? That's a tricky one, it catches out a lot of people.

Gav made me change this.

Shitty excuse:After a very sketchy roll between sidewinder and constriction, wasn't very certain of my strokes... ended up sideways at start of S bend, not sure how, Colm Slevin barrelled into me, as he was too close to avoid me, sending me side surfing a sizeable hole for a few seconds... Turned boat down river, however the flow then got on top of my back, and banana'd me... bailed in the hole, thankfully it didn't hold me...
Emotional Issues arising from the event: swore to try out future new paddles on a less fast flowing river/level first... Also skipped Big & Little Eas, not that I was likely to try them
Persons requiring rescue pints: Yianni for me, Neal Kelly/Donal Murphy/Colm for helping with boat...

Wasn't high enough to go left on the rock, nearly, but not enough... So centre, with last stroke on right... Keep the nose up... Scraped my paddles on it :L

Shitty excuse: I'm not sure, probably something really dumb
People requiring rescue pints : Again I can't remember
Emotional issues arising from the event: I seriously need to get my shit together and learn to paddle properly and independently again because I know if I just paddled lime I was paddling last summer this swim wouldn't have happened
Swim Bootie : Nope

Rescue Beers: fantastic rope throw by Shane Daddy Desmond. The boat was stuck in the hole for a few minutes Sam got to it from the bank with help from Shane and Stephen pulled it out with the rope Sam clipped on.

Emotional Issues: ya my poor dry suit got a small rip on one of the shoulder layers I almost cried.

Don't know what they teach you in Shannon Aerospace :P but I would round it to 1.0 (I have attached some instructions so you know for the future)
