Forgive my ignorance....

But what good is having skynet if you have to spend so many hours of your life constantly getting rid of bugs and spam? The club can't expect there to always be somebody willing to give up so much time (or have the know how) to do this.

I know NUIG pay a yearly fee (not expensive) to a web hoster and I havent once seen spam on the forum since I joined it in 2008. The forum is also publicly accessible. Yeah I see your points Mike although I've limited understanding. Whatever we can do to make the like page have a greater reach, yeah go for it!

To be clear though I do believe social media is important, but the 'in your face' bombardment nature of the group does more damage then good.
